One sentence, Funshalla is a place where kids & Adults have absolute fun. Funshalla Started with only Kids Play Zone in Mumbai, The idea was an instant hit! The mere thought of children moving away from the computers, gadgets and mobile screens and stepping in an atmosphere of actual ‘nonvirtual' fun. Helped parents give their children a healthy and sound upbringing.   • Run Hit by batsmen will be counted if batsmen hit the ball with one leg inside the batting crease
  • Ball Hitting directly to roof, scores no runs and no wicket for catch, the ball will be counted as correct ball.
  • Runner compulsorily required on the opposite end while last man is batting.
  • Extras include no balls, wide’s, leg byes, byes,...

  • Maximum of 1 over per Player
  • No ball if ball pitches in front of the center line

  • Only 3 fielders allowed behind bowling line.
  • Umpire will take decision for center line no balls and above waist no balls
  • Fast ball appeal should be made by the batsman...and then the decision rests with the umpire.... after appeal of fast ball umpires

  • Fast balls called by umpires will be called no balls
  • If the keeper collects the ball before it passes the stumps for the stumping, then stumping will be not valid.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS:

All age levels will have 7 players on the court.

TIME LIMIT:.

  • Each game consists of 15 points (a team needs to win by 2 points if the game is tied at 14).
  • At the end of the 20 minutes, whether the game is tied or a team is ahead by one point, the game will end as is.
  • Each team is allowed two 30 second time-outs per game. ROTATION OF PLAYERS:
  • Coaches have the option to rotate players into center back position or request for substitutions. Coaches need to signal the officials for substitutions, and the officials must acknowledge the subs before the players enter the game. Whichever option a team chooses at the beginning of a match, it must continue the same option for the entire game.
  • Each player must play half of a match and must play all front and back row positions, including serving.

BACK ROW ATTACK:

  • Back row players cannot attack the ball front row. If they attack, they have to perform the jump behind the attack line (10 feet line, 3 meter line).
  • IMPORTANT! The ball has to be completely above the net for it to be an illegal attack ANTENNAS: It is ALLOWED
    to play the ball off the net. It is a fault, if the ball contacts net outside antennas.
  • The ball has to travel between the antennas (or the imagined extensions of them) when flying to the other side of the net.

IN OR OUT:

  • Referee calls the ball “IN”, if any part of it hits the lines. (Imagine the ball is painted. If the ball left a mark that
    touches the lines, the ball is judged IN
  • The ball lands outside the boundary lines (without touching the opponent)
  • The ball hits the antenna o any of the net or cables outside the antennas o areferee stand or poles or the ceiling (EXPECTION: in high school, club or college volleyball in United States it is allowed to play after ball hits the ceiling
    SCORING
  • Rally scoring will be used for all ages - any team can score a point when it wins the rally or the opposing team commits a fault. If the receiving team wins the rally, it scores a point and gains the right to serve. SERVING:
  • Play/rally begins with a serve by the serving team. Players may serve underhand or overhand at all levels. Players may serve anywhere behind and along the end line.
  • Maximum of 3 contacts before the ball goes over the net.
  • No catching allowed.
  • Serve can be performed by hand or any part of the arm. (Kick is not allowed in serving).
  • A ball has to be released from the hand before hitting it (common mistake, especially with underhand servers is to hit to ball without releasing the ball. However, remember that even quarter of an inch release is enough. It is
    correct as long as the ball is leaves the hand before hitting it.)
  • At the moment of the serve (or when jumping on the jump serve), the player has to be in the serving area.
  • In other words the player cannot touch the back line or the ground outside the serving area. (For example jump
    server is not allowed to jump outside "the width of the backline".)
  • After the serve, the player is allowed to land or step on the court. (For example jump servers are allowed to land inside the court after serve).
  • Server has to hit the ball within 8 seconds after the whistle. Only one toss is allowed.

  • Any ball touching an obstruction (basketball hoop, poles of the net, antennae, ceiling, etc.) of the opponent’s side
    is considered out-of-bounds. Any ball touching the ceiling on your playing side is considered playable. A ball that
    touches the net but continues to the opponent's side is permitted.

Common Rules & Regulations
  • Rules & Regulation are essential to conduct the event successfully and smoothly.
  • The Committee will Be decided for the same By Funshalla Management, The Committee has Framed the rules & Regulations by Integrating the rules and regulations of various sports and games Federation of India. Committee will strictly adhere them to.
  • The Teams Need to register themselves on time and as per given guidelines
  • The Teams need to report to the venue 20 Mins prior to avoid last min rush.
  • The Committee Appointed will decide Officials For the Sports.
  • Committee has to Monitor, Officials Performers their Duty in Appropriate Manner.
  • 1 Coach and 1 Team Manager will be allowed with the team on the venue. Additional Person wills Be Charged with the Fees as Decided.
  • Medical Services, First Aid Kit and Other stuff will be available at the venue
  • It is Mandatory For Team Manger/Coach and Captain to Attain Opening Ceremony
  • The Participant should report to Reception Desk at 1st Call, She/he would be disqualified after 3rd call.
  • In case of any delay by Participant due to any unavoidable circumstances need to be reported to reception desk prior to event.
  • Any Manger or Participant should not cause any delay in events, If found doing so, the team can be disqualified from the event.
  • Managing Committee has Right to take action against the team Causing delays in events
  • Refries, Managers and Officials need to Brief the participant about all the rules before commencement of event.
  • Any Grievances or Conflicts regarding anything need to be brought in front of Organizing Committee.
  • Any protest over the decisions of the judges should be lodged in writing by the Team Manager to the Committee of Appeal within 30 min after the completion of the event with an appeal fee of RS 1000/- and Decision of Committee will be final.
  • The overall championship shall be decided on basis of total points scored by the school teams, Consisting of both boys and girls.
  • No team manager, coach or teacher shall enter the field and interfere while the events are in progress.
  • Participants should be prepared for any eventuality during the Sports, such as postponement, anticipation or change in the events.
  • In case of change of schedule the Team Manager will be intimated in advance
  • After the registration of names, no change will be allowed for any item.
  • Consumption of alcohol or any other banned substances, either by a participant or by any official. Is strictly prohibited.
  • Any complaint of harassment of any nature from any participant, either by coparticipant or any official, will be taken seriously.
  • The Team Managers should ensure that their team follows the daily time table for meals and the other activities.
  • The decision of the Committee shall be final for the entire dispute and it must be honored at all cost.
  • The Executive Committee of the FUNSHALLA can amend these rules and regulations from time to time.
  • Parents of the participants will not be allowed at the venue at any cost.
  • The name and other details of the participants as mentioned in the Entry Forms only will be entered in the certificates.
  • The Team Managers are responsible for the discipline of the team at all times. For violation of any rule or discipline, the entire team may be disqualified.
